Judge Amanda B. McNelley was appointed associate circuit judge in November, 2019 by Gov. Mike Parson. Prior to her appointment, she was employed by the law firm Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard, PC, where she was Counsel and Team Leader of the Family Law Group. She practiced family law for 17 years in St. Louis County.
Judge McNelley received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Louis University in 1998 and graduated with Dean's Honors from Washburn University School of Law in 2002. She is a member of the Missouri and Illinois Bar Associations, the Women Lawyers' Association of St. Louis, the St. Louis County Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
She is a member of St. Peter Parish where she is a Girl Scout leader. She lives in Kirkwood with her family.
